The professional periodontists that founded D & D Periodontal Associates, P.C. are doctors that are family; Dr. Daria Royzman, and Dr. Daniel Royzman are brother and sister, thus, D & D Periodontal Associates, P.C. is indeed a family owned and operated business. Along with the professional periodontal / dental implant services provided by Dr. Daria Royzman, and Dr. Daniel Royzman, D & D Periodontal Associates, P.C. has recently joined the practice of Dr. Robert Goldman, a well-known and highly esteemed periodontist working in the field of Periodontology for more than 30 years now.

Daria Royzman, DDS

Diplomate, American Board of Periodontology

Dr. Daria Royzman has been recognized by the American Board of Periodontology as an individual that has made major achievements which have far surpassed the necessary and obligatory educational requirements of those in the field of Periodontics. Dr. Daria Royzman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, which is actually the oldest American Dental Association (ADA) recognized specialty board. Dr. Daria Royzman was educated at the New York University College of Dentistry where she earned her Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. Later, she attended the highly esteemed University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she completed, with distinction, her professional training in Periodontics. Dr. Daria Royzman plans to extend her services by becoming an educator in Periodontics, and is scheduled to begin instructing in Periodontics at New York University College of Dentistry in the near future.

Dr. Daria Royzman is an active member of a number of prestigious and well recognized dental societies. Such societies include the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Board of Periodontology - Diplomate, the Northeastern Society of Periodontists, the American Dental Association, the American Association of Women Dentists, as well as the New York County Dental Society. As an individual that believes in education for the sake of education, and one who believes that continual education in necessary and vital to the profession, She is certified in four dental implant systems. Finally, Dr. Daria Royzman continuously explores educational pursuits to further her professional development in the field of Periodontics, as such, she continually attends advanced educational courses to keep up to date with the newest methods and technologies.

Daniel Royzman, DDS, MMSc

Diplomate, American Board of Periodontology

After attending Brandeis University and successfully earning his Bachelor of Arts, Dr. Daniel Royzman continued on to New York University College where he successfully earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Daniel Royzman completed his postgraduate training at the prestigious Harvard University School of Dental Medicine, situated in Boston Massachusetts, where he successfully earned a Masters Degree in Medical Science. Dr. Daniel Royzman has been previously published in a highly respected periodontal journal; he had his master's thesis published in the Journal of Periodontology in June of 2004. Also a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Dr. Daniel Royzman not only actively practices in the field of periodontics, but he is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Periodontics at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery.

He has received recognition for his dedication to his education, and is the recipient of a number of prestigious awards for educational excellence. During his attendance at Harvard University, he earned an Honorarium from the Massachusetts Periodontal Society. New York University College of Dentistry has also recognized Dr. Daniel Royzman's achievements and the university honored him with the esteemed Pierre Fauchard Award as well as the Dean's Student Research Award.

Active memberships retained by Dr. Daniel Royzman include membership in the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Board of Periodontology - Diplomate, the Northeastern Society of Periodontists, the American Dental Association, and the New York County Dental Society. A sincere believer in education and constantly looking to enhance his education and training, Dr. Daniel and Dr. Daria Royzman both purposefully attend advanced education courses annually so that, as a team, they can provide their patients with outstanding periodontal care and dental implant treatment options.

Judy Cashin, RDH

Our professional periodontal team includes the services provided by Ms. Judy Cashin, a Hygienist that earned a degree from New York University College of Dentistry. Ms. Judy Cashin is certified in the practice of administering local anesthesia. In continuous pursuit of education, Ms. Judy Cashin is the attendant of continuing educational seminars, which keeps her soundly in tune with the current technologies and treatment methods in the field. Ms. Cashin's vast knowledge, experience, and her understanding and comprehension of the appropriate clinical procedures, methods, treatments, and patient care as well as her profound efficiency, and her diligence are unparalleled, and her true commitment and compassion for all of our patients makes her an invaluable asset to our team of professionals.
